A Church Built for the One

Scripture Reading
  • Acts 2:42–47
  • Ephesians 4:15–16

“The Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” — Acts 2:47

Devotional
Healthy churches grow — not because they chase numbers, but because they nurture people.

The early church was marked by devotion, community, generosity, and mission. Growth was not manufactured — it was the fruit of a living body.

Every ministry expression of the church exists for one reason: to help people encounter Jesus and become whole in Him.  And doing so destroys the works of the devil and advances the kingdom of God.

Life Groups are not programs — they are tables where belonging happens. Kids ministry is not childcare — it is legacy shaping. Youth ministry is not activity — it is identity formation. The Dream Team is not volunteering — it is ownership of mission.

When every part does its work, love becomes visible.

A church built for the one is:
  • Spirit‑led, not personality‑driven
  • Relational, not transactional
  • Outward‑focused, not inward‑consumed

Prayer Focus
  • Pray for unity across the body
  • Pray for spiritual health in every ministry
  • Pray for leaders, servants, and unseen laborers
  • Pray that every environment would be life‑giving and welcoming

Prayer Prompt:

Lord, build us according to Your design. Knit us together in love. Let every ministry reflect Your heart for people.

Day 2 Declaration
We declare that Life Church will be healthy and whole.
Every part will be connected. Every gift will be activated.
We will build environments where people are known, loved, and discipled.
As each part does its work, love will increase among us.
